BEFORE YOU BEGIN:
We strongly suggest downloading the app on a mobile device or logging in on your desktop at least 30 minutes BEFORE your first class to make sure you can get it, and to play around with the features!!
If using on a desktop:
Go to zoom.us to create an account.
If using a mobile device:
Download the app and create an account.
TO JOIN A CLASS:
Sign up online for the class as you would normally sign up for an in-person class. You can do this through the mind body app or our website. https://www.thegentleplace.com/yoga-class-schedule/
Once you have signed up will receive an automated confirmation email. Be sure to check your RESERVATION CONFIRMATION EMAIL, as it CONTAINS THE unique LINK for your YOGA CLASS!
If using a Desktop:
Click the link in the email. You may be prompted to enter the login information you created when you created your account. Or it may open directly to the zoom platform and the class if you are already signed in. You are then ready to go once the designated time arrives and the “host” (host=teacher) starts the class.
If your computer does not have the necessary capabilities it may ask you to download the zoom program. You will see this message:
Click Save file.
Once it downloads, look for the download icon in the upper right corner of your screen to run the program. (The arrow pointing down)
Once you hit that button it should be ready to go!
If using a Mobile device:
Click on the link sent to you via email and/or text. (see example)
The app will open. Click the “Join Meeting” button if it doesn’t automatically open the meeting. You will be in a “waiting room” until the host starts the class, or you will see your instructor waiting for you!
Alternative way to join via mobile device:
Open the app, sign in with your account information.
Click “Join” then type in the “meeting ID” sent to you via the confirmation email. You will be in a “waiting room” until the host starts the class, or you will see your instructor waiting for you!
