If you have purchased a Groupon (New students only, and one time only, please!), then here is what you need to do.
No, you don’t need to bring anything! We supply mats, blocks, blankets, straps, and bolsters. Just wear comfortable clothing you can move in, perhaps dress in layers for when you warm up and cool down. We also have a free, filtered water if you want to fill your refillable water bottle!!
Although all of our teachers are excellent with new students, if you are completely new to Yoga we suggest that you start with some of our more gentle and basic classes. That would include any class that has the word “Gentle”or “Beginner” in its title. We have one almost every day! Once you have taken a couple of classes and are comfortable with the basic asanas (postures) feel free to try any class. And be sure to let the teacher know you are new so she can be sure to keep an eye on you! Check here for a description of our classes!
Our studio is small, holding a maximum of 8 students per class, so we highly recommend signing up in advance to hold your spot. If you can’t make it, we ask that you cancel on line as early as possible so that there is room for someone who might want to get in. No shows that are cancelled an hour in advance are deducted from your class card.
Yes, we do! Sign up on the waiting list and if someone cancels up to an hour before the class, you will get moved into the class and you will get a notification by email (or text) based on the communication preferences you have chosen!
